As August comes to a close and autumn is on the horizon, we’re thrilled to share a lineup of local fall events that promise to make this season unforgettable. From celebrating the Oktoberfest culture to exploring vibrant art and enjoying lively street festivals, there's something for everyone. As you likely already know, Cambium loves working with festivals and events, so here's a sneak peek at some of the events our clients have coming up this fall. Germantown Oktoberfest | Friday, September 13
Prost! Germantown Oktoberfest returns on Friday, September 13th with an expanded block party edition, including the Sam Adams Stein Hoisting Contest, Weiner Dog Races, beer games, and of course, limited edition and one of a kind brews will be pouring all night long!

Bourbon, Brunch and Bluegrass | Saturday, September 21
In partnership with the Louisville Mayor’s Office and Danny Wimmer Presents, the NuLu Business Association is excited to host the inaugural Bourbon, Brunch and Bluegrass event throughout the NuLu neighborhood on Saturday, September 21. This Bourbon & Beyond pregame will take place from 11am – 3pm with participating NuLu businesses offering shopping, food & cocktail specials. Plus enjoy live bluegrass music and bourbon themed activities such as barrel rolling, bourbon tray carrying contests. There will also be a free courtesy shuttle out to the festival grounds running from 12-3pm.

WFPK Waterfront Wednesday | Wednesday, September 25
Join us at the final WFPK Waterfront Wednesday of the season for Dark Side of the Wall, Zaniah, +Flow on September 25. The free concerts take place on the Big Four Lawn in Louisville’s Waterfront Park. The lawn opens at 5 p.m., with music beginning promptly at 6 p.m. Proceeds from WFPK Waterfront Wednesday benefit Louisville Public Media and Waterfront Park.

NuLu Fest | Saturday, September 28
The hallmark event of the NuLu neighborhood, NuLu Fest returns for its 14 year on Saturday, September 28. Celebrating the continued growth and revitalization of Louisville’s East Market District., NuLu Fest attracts a dynamic and diverse crowd that reflects the heart of our community, and showcases a rich array of local businesses, vendors, various activations, artist installations and more. Come enjoy live music, regional micro-brewed beers, and numerous food and retail booths by local vendors. The event is free, family-friendly and open to the public.

St. James Court Art Show | Friday, October 4 - Sunday, October 6
If it's the first full weekend of October, you know where to find the Cambium Team....the St. James Court Art Show of course! The 68th annual St. James Court Art Show will be held Friday, October 4 - Sunday, October 6. This juried fine arts and contemporary crafts show is held among the country’s largest collection of Victorian homes in the heart of historic Old Louisville, admission is free and the art show is rain or shine. Ranked the #1 Best Fine Art and Design Show in America (Sunshine Artist magazine, 2023), this autumn tradition draws 250,000 visitors who come to purchase unique handcrafted items directly from the hands that crafted them. Featuring 17 different artistic mediums and from over 600 artists.

BowmanFest | Saturday, October 5 & Sunday, October 6
BowmanFest ​is back for the first time since 2022! Come behind the fences with us to the airfield and walk through 15 acres of displays and opportunities to take a ride in a plane or helicopter! Enjoy the sites of historic planes on display, War birds, military planes, vehicles, helicopters, motorcycles and a car show. Rides will be available in various planes and helicopters for an additional purchase. Plus, food trucks, a bar with craft cocktails from Green River Bourbon, MiCampo Tequila for the adults, plus a field of inflatables for the little ones... family fun for all!
